Michael excels at on-location photography including architecture, portraits, headshots, corporate events, weddings, and Ògrip & grins.Ó His studio facilities are perfect for everything from portraiture to shooting CD covers. A sampling of his client base includes Hilton Hotels Corporation, Deer Path Inn, Blue Parrot, NBC, A&E, Cigna Healthcare, Coldwell Banker, ChicagoÕs top public relations firms, Leukemia Foundation, local non-profits, Trax Recording Studios, L.A. Times, Chicago Tribune, and People Magazine.
MichaelÕs interest in photography developed as a child when his favorite uncle presented him with his first camera (a Polaroid Swinger). He has been passionate about writing with light ever since. MichaelÕs early years were spent mastering his craft while touring Europe and North America. Michael received an Associate of Arts Degree in Photography and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. After graduation, he worked as an assistant at Grignon Studios and then established his own company, Kardas Photography, which has been serving the Chicagoland area for over 15 years.
